This vintage Louis Vuitton Cartouchière MM shoulder bag, model M51253, features brown Monogram coated canvas with natural vachetta leather trim and brown leather lining. This model is discontinued.
The flap-top design has a leather tab and brass buckle closure, gold-tone brass hardware, two divided interior compartments and an interior slip pocket. The adjustable flat leather shoulder strap allows for shoulder or crossbody carry.
The bag measures approximately 21 x 17 x 7 cm (W 8.26 x D 2.75 x H 6.69 inches). The shoulder strap adjusts from 80 to 125 cm (31.5 to 49.21 inches).
The bag is described as being in very good vintage condition, with light canvas creasing, a honey-coloured leather patina, minor watermarks, scratches and edge rubbing.
