This vintage Louis Vuitton Cartouchière MM crossbody bag is crafted from brown Monogram coated canvas with natural vachetta leather trim and piping. The spacious, discontinued design features a flap top, a leather tab with a brass buckle closure, and gold-tone brass hardware. An adjustable flat leather shoulder strap allows shoulder or crossbody wear.
The interior has brown leather lining, two divided compartments and a slip pocket. Approximate dimensions are 10 in (25 cm) wide, 8 in (20 cm) high and 3 in (7.5 cm) deep.
The bag is described as being in good vintage condition, with canvas creasing, shape softening and light surface wear. The vachetta leather has a deep honey patina, watermarks, scratches, darkening and rubbing, with visible creasing on the closure tab and strap. The hardware shows scratches and tarnishing.
